  • Single element uncooled VPD PbSe detector, in 2 standard sizes: 1×1 mm2, 2×2 mm2, packaged in SMD or TO-5 (with cap, hermetic) with sapphire window.

In this video, several examples of the capabilities of NIT’s sensors to monitor industrial welding processes are shown. Sensors used in the demos are the TACHYON 1024 CORE-HS operating at 10,000 fps, and the MATRIX 1024 CORE-S operating at 100 fps. The examples shown focus on resistance spot welding (automotive industry and home appliance manufactuing industry), and TIG welding (metal barrel manufacturing).
